Brand Spode Copeland

  • From Spode, this unusually beautiful plate has an all over brown transfer pattern of geometric vines mixed with Victorian styled plumed scrolls and flowers. It is hand painted evenly throughout in shades of burnt orange and. The plate has a pointed, scalloped border. Looks lovely mixed with other patterns as shown in the last photo ( a custom arrangement done for a client).  These salad sized plates would be gorgeous anytime but even more so at Thanksgiving mixed with other browns, rusts or whites to add interest to your table.  They are really pretty!

Marked:  Hand numbered, impressed Cpode Copeland mark and numeral, stamped Copeland Spode Great Britain "SORRENTO"

 

Condition is very good having no chips, cracks, or reapirs. There is some typical age related crazing.  I have several of these plates, one or two do have very minor nics on the rim, small fleabites if you will, that are barely noticeable.  These will be sent out last.
