Stunning Vintage Tole Tray Woburn Abbey Bees Butterflies Roses Blackberries Queen Victoria 1841
This product is unavailable
Vintage English made tray depicting the Queen Victoria’s visit to the bustling Woburn Abbey in 1841. What I love most about this tray though is it’s elaborately decorated border that framed the scene. Gold scrollwork, butterflies and bees fluttering amongst freshly plucked blackberries and fresh picked roses and daisies in pinks, blues and reds just makes the whole thing pop. It reminds me of the Vitoria ephemera so popular then, and still today.
Measures: 22” x 18”
