Vintage Blue Floral English Ironstone Basket Weave Bulb Planter Bread Bowl Charlotte

Brand Crown Devon

Here is an orphaned piece (the original top was broken on its way from England) which would be perfect for forcing bulbs as it's shallow enough.  Can't you see some narcissus in this?  It could also be used as a serving bowl or lined with a pretty napkin and used for serving hot rolls.   It  had a basketweave relief body and is a nice white ironstone with a blue transfer in the Charlotte pattern:  a basket filled with freshly cut flowers.  Beautiful detailing and very hard to find!

What a great piece this is and will be to either an ironstone, transferware collector or a a hen collector, or all!
