One of my favorite patterns is Pomeroy by Royal Doulton. This piece is a very hard to find is a vintage blue transferware footed and covered soup tureen, dating to about the 1930's. It comes with the matching ladle, which depicts the flowers in it's well.  This is a very hard to find item! The border is a mix of fruits and flowers intertwined with scroll work. The lid depicts an urn filled with flowers setting on the edge of a brick wall. It has a pretty, detailed finial knob on top and painted handles at either side.  Stunning for display or use (or both!)
