A richly colored floral still life inspired by Dutch and Flemish flower paintings of the 17th and 18th centuries.
The painting features an abundant arrangement of richly colored garden blooms gathered in a dark urn. Roses, tulips, forget-me-nots, and other cottage garden flowers spill naturally across a stone ledge, creating a romantic composition against a shadowy landscape background. The painting is oil on board and comes framed in an ornately detailed gilded frame which I believe is some sort of resin composition.

, minor nicks, scratches, to frame, lower left corner has some damage which doesn’t really show when hung but it’s on the bottom towards the back of the frame. See close up pic.
