Vintage Old World Botanical Still Life Tole Ware Tray
This large tray would be perfect displayed on a wall, atop a hutch or curio cabinet, on a table or as a lovely piece of art on your wall. It is a scalloped black metal / tole tray with gold around the inside rim. The scene depicts a large bamboo / rattan basket filled to overflow. There are cherries, pears, peaches, grapes, pomegranate, plums and currants. There are a couple of butterflies and a cute snail trailing across the table. It was made in England. Absolutely charming to use or hang in the wall.
Measures: 22 1/8" x 17 3/8" x 1"
Condition: Very good, couple of dings, some minor scratching here and there and a few little spots that should wipe away. It’s such a classic scene!
