For consideration I am offering this beautiful, creamware oval platter a from Englands famed Wedgwood potteries. This piece has an unusually beautiful light gray body with a magenta/purple colored transfer scene of roosters and peacocks amongst flora and foliage.
Absolutely beautiful vintage purple/plum transfer!
It is marked on the back : Ferrara Etruruia England Wedgwood
No chips or cracks and little surface wear. It really appears to have been used for display purposes only.
