EARLY 20TH C Royal Baking Powder Dovetail cornered WOOD BOX CRATE PAPER LABEL GRAPHIC. graphics on all sides and inside on two walls as well. Great antique condition as shown. The Royal Baking Powder Company was one of the largest producers of baking powder in the United States. Royal Baking Powder is still marketed today. In 1929, the Royal Baking Powder Co., along with four other companies including the Fleischmann's Yeast Company, merged to form Standard Brands, the number-two brand of packaged foods in America after General Foods at that time. Through a further merger, Standard Brands itself became part of Nabisco in 1981. I am selling my collection of antique wooden crates due to no longer having space. These are great for storing books, blankets or displaying in a kitchen. I used to use them in a pantry that could be seen from the kitchen and kept everything from canned goods to things like chips, bagged snacks etc in them. It is a great way to decoratively disguise and organize a bunch of pantry/dry goods you don’t necessarily want to show. Measures 13” x 10” x 10” There is wear and tear as shown, some tears to the label, warping etc. It is OLD and all original! |
