Here is a fabulous pair of antique Aesthetic Movement Victorian Flow Blue transferware plates each featuring birds.  both plates have relief lattice borders with gold trim on the inside of the border and outside along the rim.

A cobalt transfer that intentionally blurred during firing, creating a soft halo effect.
This style was extremely popular in the U.S. between 1880–1900.
