Antique Turkey Platter Brown Transferware Clarice Cliff Hand Painted Autumn Foliage

Brand Royal Staffordshire

Royal Staffordshire
Clarice Cliff

I am pleased to offer this absolutely gorgeous huge, vintage / antique transferware turkey platter. The turkey pattern is highly sought after by collectors and very difficult to find ,especially in this strikingly vibrant colorway.  It is by Clarice Cliff of Royal Staffordshire potteries in a beautiful pattern depicting a turkey framed with oak and maple leaves and fall foliage which have all been hand painted in rich shades of burgundy, red, sienna, green, amber, teal blue and gold over the brown transfer.  It is permanent and protected by the overglaze.

The platter is gorgeous used as a serving tray as well, as shown.

Very collectible and difficult to find plate!

Measures: Platter is just under 19"

Condition: No chips, no cracks, appears to not have been used.  One has a very slightly rough spot on the edge which appears to have happened during manufacture.  It is not really noticeble unless you run your fingers around the outer rim of the plate and it can be felt.  It's about 1 cm

I have these in the same multi color on black transferware, blue, purple, red and brown also, listed separately
