Absolutely stunning, this antique brown transferware plate by Wedgwood depicts a wild rabbit hopping across a field and two rabbits in the background. All you can see of one is his tail as he hops into the bushes. Ā It is entirely hand painted (enameled) Ā over the delicate brown transfer in green, rust, tan and gold. Ā The wildlife scene is surrounded by cartouches surrounded by leaves and bases. Beautiful greens and browns!
