Beautiful, picturesque Mason's tray in the highly collectible red transferware pattern entitled "Vista".
This little tray was made to set under a gravy boat. It is in the iconic Vista pattern by Masons. It has a very unique shape, with a tab handled end. I used to have this hanging on the wall with other unusually shaped pieces.
The scenic piece depicts several couples on park like grounds near an old English castle....all canopied under lush, mature trees. The border is a stunning blend of large intertwining ivy leaves set against a scalloped and embossed edge.
Condition is good, no chips or cracks. Crazing commensurate with age.
