Here's a beautiful, late 19th century razor box with a Greco-Roman bathhouse theme. It is a brown transfer with a golden lustre finish. There is a figural walnut attached to a branch and leaves which make the handle.
The piece measures about 8 3/4" in length, 3 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" to the top of the lid.
This piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a little wear around the lustre trim at the rim and a small rust (?) stain inside that I have not tried to remove.
