The scene depicts a man with a fishing pole in his hand walking alongside the winding stream and two horses pulling a cart overloaded with hay. Further back a rolling, hilly landscape leads to a church whose steeple can be seen above the trees.. Really pretty! The border is a mix of small twined ivy and vines on the outer edge and pretty flowers at the inside.
