Gorgeous, Chocolate Brown & Hand Painted Transferware lamp font / base!
Hard to find! 

This is my favorite transferware lamp!  With four sides, there are two different scenes.  On two sides there is a brown floral consisting of mixed flowers including roses.  On the other two sides the transfer is hand painted with shades of green and gold and it depicts a view looking through an arbor or arched columns to Canterbury Cathedral.  The lamp has embossing around the base and tops which add extra detail along with bands of floral and scrolls.  The body is a creamy off white.  It sits on an antique'd brass/bronze filigree base that is just beautiful!

 I have had this lamp in my collection for about 15 years, but was fortunate to find another matching pair with a slightly different but similar base.  I've decided to keep the pair and sell the single lamp.  
This lamp is wired but needs a new/replacement switch.  It was working but the turn switch no longer turns the lamp on.  I believe this is an easy fix but I don't personally know how to do it.  It will need a shade and has a place for a harp.


Measures: 19 3/4" tall to top of socket, without the shade, harp or finial.  With the shade it will be about 25-28"

No chips or cracks, there is crazing
