Fresh from a local estate I have a vintage (brown mailbox stamp) dinner plate in the classic and ever popular pattern, The Friendly Village, by Johnson Brothers.
The plate features a winter scene of The School House. The transfer is a brown color but with an olive green hue to it….sort of between the two colors. The color is all hand tinted. The border blends oak leaves and flowers.
Perfect year round. I’ve included a Fall table scape from a few years ago with links to more info about this setting and pattern.
Measures: 9 5/8”
Condition: Good, there are no chips or cracks at all. Some minor crazing on a couple of plates
