For consideration is this gorgeous flow blue leaf shape dish with Apple or Cherry Blossoms and gold highlights.  Beautiful detail in the shape and veining of the leaf and deep, cobalt flowers with spattered gold.
Measures:  Largest piece (the platter in the center) is appx 15" x 4 1/2"

Condition: No chips or cracks

 

Sampson Hancock founded his company in 1857 and renamed S. Hancock & Sons (Potters) Ltd in 1935.  A relatively small potter, they employed about 150 workers. Mr. Hancock died on May 9th of 1900 and was succeeded in the business by his sons, Harry, Jabez and Arthur.   The company closed in 1937.
