This is the hard to find 'Oak' series featuring an embossed border of acorns and oak leaves in the creamy colored glaze. The blue transfer depicts a view of Osbourne House and a family strolling the formal grounds. Osborne House is a former royal residence in East Cowes, Isle of Wight, UK. The house was built between 1845 and 1851 for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a summer home and rural retreat.
