Quintessential English Country decor. Ā Here is a beautiful pair of 19th Century Staffordshire Confetti Sheep figurines with bocage that have been converted to adorable lamps. These salt glazed stoneware figures come from England.

These are from my collection and I’ve had them in use for a while in my kitchen. Ā I’m having to clear a lot out and get ready for a move so I'm going to let these go. Ā They are both working but have old cords which probably ought to be replaced. Ā The lamp shades are just some I put on and don’t come with the lamps. Ā They’re a little small though I think with a fringe added they’d work so if you’re interested in them I would include them for an additional fee.

The figurines are on wood bases and in great condition. Ā These use a skinny base chandelier type bulb.Ā

Salt glaze pottery is usually stoneware with a glaze of glossy, Ā translucent and slightly orange-like texture which was formed by throwing common salt into the kiln during the higher temperature part of the firing process. Sodium from the salt reacts with silica in the clay body to form a glassy coating. The glaze may be colorless or may be colored various shadesĀ

Approximate dimensions: 9.5ā€ tall without shades x 4.5ā€ wide

Condition: very good, minor restoration to the foliage at the rear which has been shortened and capped off.
