BLUE TRANSFER WARE PLATE
For consideration is this beautiful dinner plate by Royal Staffordshire in the Tonquin pattern by Clarice Cliff. This piece depicts a stately home nestled into a stunning river view landscape. In the foreground a pair of swans swim in the calm waters near a cascading waterfall under the footbridge above. In the distance a sailboat is on the lake and mountains further into the scene. All is surrounded by a stunning floral border consisting of roses and scrollwork.
Measures 10"
Condition: No chips or cracks. There is crazing, commensurate to age present. I have 8 of these at time of listing and a couple of them have the tiniest little fleabites on the very outer edge...you have to pick them up and really look to see it but I have discounted these anyway. They are lovely!
