Circa 1930

For consideration is this highly collectible, historical Staffordshire plate depicting The First Thanksgiving at Berkeley. The image source depicted on this plate is of the painting by Jean Leon Gerome Ferris (1863–1930) which was painted in 1912-19. The border is surrounded with several cartouches pertaining to significant times and/or peoples of the U.S. history....The Mayflower in Plymouth Harbour, an American Indian on horseback with bow and arrow, a Pilgrim couple watching the Mayflower return, and Pocohontas saving the life of John Smith.

Measures: appx 10.5"

Condition: No chips or cracks, with exception to one small one on the back of the plate that doesn't show from the front.  Some minor crazing is present
