Here is a beautiful brown transferware plate by J & G Meakin, of Staffordshire, England in the Romantic England pattern. This scene is of a cow grazing in a meadow alongside a stream w\/ a rock covered bridge. The background encompasses rolling hills and an English castle. The border is a blend of beautiful roses and victorian scrolls. This plate is in wonderful condition, no chips or cracks and minimal, if any, crazing.

Measures appx. 10" diameter.

Condition: No chips or cracks, some very minor crazing is present

Marked Romantic England Ironsone j & G meakin England dishwasher safe (dates to 1960's-70)

This pattern is becoming very hard to find. I love the wonderful cattle scene . . . so serene! A must for the brown transferware or cow collector!
