An ornate border of scrollwork, acanthus leaves, stylized Thistle and floral medallions sets off a stark central image of the Warwick Vase; a Roman marble brought to England in the eighteenth century. Copeland and Garrett seems to look back to Neoclassicism with the simplicity and weight of this detailed design.
Circa 1833-47
Measures: 11” x 9”
Condition is good for age. No chips or cracks but there is some light discoloration as can be seen in the photos and manufacturing glaze pops.
