For consideration is this stunningly detailed and vividly colored canister/ ginger jar. It dates to about the 1930’s and was made in England by Masons. It has a a cobalt basket filled with Chinoiserie styled flowers, including pink peonies. The basket and bow are painted in gilt. It’s perfect for fresh flowers with lid propped to the side, utensil storage, loose tea, etc At the time of listing there are two available. They’d be beautiful flanking a mantle, or on wall brackets. Fully marked on bottom as shown
Measures just under 7” tall x 5” wide
Condition: No chips or cracks, just some age related crazing and some minor staining in the underneath / bottom as shown.
