Fragments of Grace No.9 - The Amethyst Offering

Brand Nancy's Daily Dish

A one-of-a-kind altered vintage Mason’s “Ascot” handled tray from the Fragments of Grace collection by Nancy’s Daily Dish.

This lovely purple transferware tray has been thoughtfully reimagined with jeweled bee embellishments placed along the floral border, as though they have gently gathered near the blossoms. The rich amethyst tones of the bees echo the plum-colored flowers in the Mason’s design, while their silver sparkle adds a quiet sense of movement, life, and beauty.

To me, this piece feels like an offering — something once imperfect, now lifted up and given a new purpose. That is the heart behind Fragments of Grace. This collection was born from my own season of brokenness, grief, and starting over, and from the belief that God can take what feels damaged, lost, or beyond repair and turn it into something meaningful again.

The Amethyst Offering is a reminder that grace is not just a single moment of rescue, but a continual renewing. God has turned my life around in ways I could not have imagined, and He is still renewing me — piece by piece, day by day.

Once imperfect, this tray has been given a new life and a new story. It is a small testimony to beauty after brokenness, hope after hardship, and the quiet work of grace still unfolding.

Decorative use only. Not intended for food use. Vintage wear, crazing, chips, cracks, repairs, or age-related imperfections may be present and are part of the story of the piece

A one-of-a-kind altered vintage plate from the Fragments of Grace collection by Nancy’s Daily Dish.

This one-of-a-kind altered plate began as an imperfect vintage treasure, already carrying the quiet beauty of age, time, and use. Its soft teal border, gilt highlights, and floral center feel delicate and romantic, as though the blooms were always waiting for something to land among them.

Two butterflies have been added to continue the story of the plate — one a beautifully embroidered  butterfly, rich with texture and dimension, and the other a jeweled butterfly resting along the opposite edge. Together, they seem to hover gently over the flowers, bringing movement, hope, and new life to a piece that might once have been overlooked.

Part of the Fragments of Grace collection, this piece is a reminder that beauty can still emerge from broken or imperfect places. What may have once seemed flawed has been thoughtfully reimagined by hand and given a new story — one of grace, renewal, and beauty after brokenness.

The plate is an antique English piece by Pratt, often referred to as Prattware.

Decorative use only. Not intended for food use. Vintage wear, crazing, chips, cracks, repairs, or age-related imperfections may be present and are part of the story of the piece.

Each piece in the Fragments of Grace collection includes a keepsake card with the piece’s title, collection number, and the story behind Fragments of Grace — a reminder that broken does not mean finished, and beauty can still be found in what has been lovingly restored.
