For consideration is this set of two antique framed engravings from the book Great Britain Illustrated: A Series of Limited Views by Thomas Moule and William Westall, published in 1830.   

One depicts Edinburgh Castle, the historic fortress dominating the skyline of Edinburgh, Scotland.  The other depicts Bradford, West Yorkshire England , as the book focuses on various locations throughout Great Britain.

Great Britain Illustrated is a topographical work featuring detailed engravings of British cities, towns, and landmarks, accompanied by descriptions highlighting their historical and cultural significance.

Thomas Moule was an English antiquarian known for his decorative county maps of England, while William Westall was a British landscape artist who contributed the drawings for the engravings.

The Art: Framed under glass with a green and gold wood frame

Measures:  The overall size of each framed print is 7 1/2” x 5 3/4”


Condition:   no significant signs of any damage  some minor wear around the outside of the frame.  Glass needs cleaning.
