For consideration is this vintage English plate by Royal Staffordshire Clarice Cliff in the Rural Scenes / Pastoral Davenport pattern. The plate depicts a charming farm scene with horses pulling carts and men atop huge piles of hay. The foreground encompasses a wooden fence and chickens/hens in the yard. The border is a stunning blend of berries intertwined amongst greenery and 4 insets of farming tools....very unique and different from most borders which consist of florals or geometric designs. It has beautiful hand painted colors of gold, green and burgundy. This is one of the most beautiful scenes on transferware ever!
Condition: No chips or cracks, crazing is present
