From the classic Oliver Twist novel by Charles Dickens this plate depicts one of the most vicious of characters, Bill Sikes and his dog.  The image is a black transfer and the plate has a rich, honey amber glaze.  It features intricate raised detailing of vines, grape clusters and urns around the border.  The rim has a deep loden green trim.


Measures: 9.25"
Condition": Excellent, no chips or cracks and little crazing.
