For consideration is this wonderful vintage / Sheffield bread knife with a carved wood handle. The knife has the word "bread" carved into its handle. The knife is hallmarked with the Bramhall Sheffield mark as shown.
Sheffield is known the world over for its stainless steel development that took hold in the early 19th Century. Many firms produced pieces like this and the wood bread and butter boards that are so highly collected today.
Measures: The knife has an overall length of 15.25" with a blade length of 9.75". It has "Bramhall Sheffield England" lettered on the blade.
Condition: excellent, appearing unused, condition. Comes with a plastic protector sleeve.
I have a collection of wood handled knives in my kitchen displayed in a faux bois coffee pot (shown last photo). I get compliments on them on a regular basis!
