Beautifully picturesque round serving tray / platter n the highly collectible transferware pattern entitled 'English Scenery' by Wood & Sons.
The platter depicts a rural scene with chickens, and a horse and cart out in front of a blacksmith shop...further back into the scene is a picket fence and a pond followed by a church. The border is a beautiful blend of lush flowers, I think, perhaps peonies.

Plate measures appx. 12" in diameter. Condition is wonderful...no chips, cracks...minimal crazing (if any)
