I just love the chintz / sheet patterned border on this plate...it blends effortlessly into the pastoral scene in which it frames.  The outer rim is scalloped with a darker, almost navy, blue.  At the center, a graceful windmill rises above a gently rolling landscape, with distant fields and trees fading softly into the horizon. In the foreground, a small horse-drawn cart or wagon rests along a country path, adding a charming touch of rural life and movement to the scene.

Measures: 9”
Condition: No chips or cracks. There is browning and crazing present, commensurate to age.
