Vintage Wood Carrying Case / Suitcase / Briefcase - Bonded Leather & Buckle Handle

$49.99

Brand Unknown

For consideration is this vintage carrying case made of some type of wood with what may be a thin bonded leather on the outside. It features buckle / belt type snap closures.  The hardware is a bronzey-gold tone brass or metal and is antique'd with a warm patina.  There are four brass emblems decorating the front and wrap to the side/top where the handle is. The back hinges have lost the little nails on one side so they would need replacing but it still closes and fits fine...perfect to lay flat. In the last photo I included a photo showing with the lid held up a bit so you can see that the nails are missing and the hinges un-attached to one side.  I used this as decor in my husbands home office for years along with some other leather and wooden cases which I'll be listing as well.  I've had them for at least 20-25 years and some I bought at antique / resale shops and some were purchased new but I honestly don't recall which is which so I can only safely say they are at least 20-25 years old.

Measures: 16 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 6 1/2"
