Antique English George Jones Blue Cobblestone Transferware Plate w/ Roses Bouquet

$49.99

Brand George Jones & Sons

Gorgeous cobbled stone in blue transfer with pink roses.  Hard to find these pieces with the cobblestone motif’

This elegant porcelain plate features a striking blue cobblestone pattern that forms a dense, textured border around the rim and a geometric star-like panel at the center. The deep cobalt blue is composed of tightly packed, pebble-like dots, creating a rich visual contrast against the smooth ivory white ground.

Between the blue sections, the plate is adorned with delicate pink rose sprays, each hand-painted with soft shading and complemented by fresh green leaves. These floral motifs are evenly spaced in scalloped reserves, giving the design a graceful rhythm and balance.

Fine gilded accents trace the edges of the scalloped panels and inner borders, adding warmth and a touch of refinement. At the center, a small cluster of roses echoes the outer decoration, tying the composition together.

Overall, the plate blends intricate patterning with romantic floral detail, resulting in a piece that feels both decorative and timeless—ideal for display or as part of a refined table setting.
