For consideration is this stunningly coloured plate by Adams potteries of England. The pattern is Italian Scenery. The scene depicts a couple picnicking near the banks of a stream with a building opposite them. The scene is surrounded by a band of flowers with cartouches on 4 sides. The rim is painted in a deep, burgundy-brown color. The transfer is hand painted in shades of blue, taupe, yellow, green burgundy.
Measures 9.5"
Condition is very good...no chips, cracks and little crazing. A little paint wear around the rim
