PURPLE & BLACK BI-COLOR TRANSFER WARE PLATE

For consideration is this interesting & stunning plate by Copeland Spode. It has a classic, gadroon shape with a piecrust edge. The crisp black transfer is highlighted with a magenta purple border of peaches, plums, carnations and daffodils that frame the interesting scene of a group of people gathered around musicians seated on steps near the fountains.

Measures: 10.5"

Condition: Very good, no chips or cracks, some surface scratches and wear at the purple border

Marked Copeland Spode England and incised with Spode Copeland & Registration # which I cannot make out. It is also hand numbered.
