For consideration is this charming transferware plate by the Royal Tudor Ware potteries of Staffordshire England. It fhas the sweetest scene of a modest, thatched country cottage with a Mother standing outside holding an infant. Beside her, on a felled log, is a little boy with his arms outstretched, either in play or want of Mommy's attention. There is a young girl on the other side of her Mother, playing. Behind the octtage is a pretty arched fench and stream. The scene is enveloped by large, old trees. The border is an ornate blend of roses and flowers along feathered scrollwork trimmed with a delicate 22k gold band.
