For consideration is this lovely brown polychrome transferware plate by Ridgways in the Devon pattern. The brown transfer design features hand painted touches of blue, yellow, deep red/burgundy and green on the face, underglaze. The outer border is basket weave with acorns and oak leaves in solid brown while the center design is a bouquet of fresh flowers including primroses and phlox.
Measures just under 8”
Condition is great, no chips or cracks, very little crazing, commensurate to age, is present.
