Antique Brown Transferware Chamomile Daisies Flowers Wash Bowl & Pitcher
$199.99
Brand Unknown
This antique wash basin and pitcher dates to the Aesthetic Movement and depicts Chamomile daisies with pluming scrolls running through them. The airy flowers are on both sides of the pitcher, inside the pitchers lip and on both outside and inside of the bowl. The handle and around the top of the pitcher have relief detailing. It is marked Marguerite on the bottom of the pitcher.
It’s a beautiful set! I have two wash bowl/pitcher sets and use them in different ways. One set I use the bowl for serving punch or at large gatherings as a salad bowl or snack bowl. I use the pitcher in the kitchen to hold utensils. Another set, I use the bowl to hold washcloths and the pitcher to hold a toilet brush in the bathroom. These are beautiful simply as display items too!
