Rare Brown Transferware Coffeepot with Cattle Scene!
For consideration is a beautiful brown transferware tea pot by J&G Meakin, of Staffordshire, England in the Romantic England pattern. This scene is of cattle grazing in a meadow near a stream w/ a rock covered bridge. Just to the left and back of them is a charming thatched Tudor cottage. The background encompasses rolling hills and an English castle. It is all enveloped by large, mature trees. The scene is on both sides.
Measurements appx 7.5 " tall with lid on x 8" handle to spout
Condition: Overall wonderful with exception to a repaired chip on the inside rim that isn't visible with the lid on
