The Tower pattern is Iconic.  It was first introduced by Spode in 1814 and was derived from a printed illustration  in the book 'Views of Rome and its Vicinity' published around 1796-98.  The Tower pattern depicts the Bridge of Salaro near Rome.  The pattern has been in constant production from its introduction over 200 years ago!
