I hadn't seen this pattern before and of course loved it as soon I saw it and its subject matter, depicting various English craft making. By Royal Tudor Ware / Barker Bros. Here we see hurdle makers assembling horse jumping hurdles in a grassy meadow with a castle in the background. It has an airy border of budding blackberries and leaves with an embossed rim. Heavy ironstone.
Measures: 8"
Condition: no chips, no cracks, little crazing
