RARE BROWN TRANSFERWARE DINNER PLATE BY COPELAND SPODE
Circa 1930's
For consideration is this stunning brown transferware dinner plate by Copeland Spode in a very rare and difficult to find pattern entitled Beverley, however the border is that of the Aster pattern. The scene depicts an Italian scene with two men on a gondola beneath towering hilltops and is surrounded by the floral border.
It measures appx. 9.50" wide. This piece is in wonderful condition, having no chips or cracks, just some age appropriate crazing.
